Shoes and a craft

This is a really bad photo of the top of my wedding shoe. "Something blue-patent" baby!

I chose my friend and one time roomie Jen to be my reader because of her soothing and expressive voice and because she is a teacher so reading comes naturally to her. I made her a card, asking her to read from a leather bound book at my wedding. It was my attempt at humor because I knew one of her favorite movies is "Anchorman". To tie it all together, I gave her a mini Ron Burgundy complete with a mini "leather bound" version of The Velveteen Rabbit. It's the book the reading passage is from because it has a beautiful message and it was a favorite of mine when I was young.
